At Burke Energy, we’re not just leaders in providing the best in customer service – we’re proud supporters of the next generation of HVAC experts who will continue to shape the industry’s future. Our commitment to excellence goes hand in hand with our dedication to uplifting the community through education and mentorship.
Recently, Field Service Supervisor Nicky Natrella and Service Technician Bill Fernandez stepped up as judges for a friendly student competition between Saunders Trades & Technical High School and Bronx Design & Construction Academy, sponsored by the National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals (OESP). In this exciting challenge, Nicky and Bill added 10 faults to the equipment and tasked the students with diagnosing and repairing them within 20 minutes.
With Saunders Trades & Technical High School holding the honor of being New York State’s longest-running trade school, the students brought their sharp skills and career-ready enthusiasm to the competition. The institution’s emphasis on 21st-century technical education, skill acquisition, and community contribution resonates strongly with our values at Burke Energy.
Through initiatives like this, we’re proud to be seen as a trusted source of expertise – not just in providing reliable service, but in inspiring and educating the next generation of professionals in our industry. Events like these remind us that the future of HVAC is bright, and it’s powered by the same passion and dedication that fuel our work every day.
